Is it possible to earn money and be generous at the same time? In Internet marketing, at least, that’s very much possible and it’s one of the reasons why being an Internet marketer can be so much fun!
Do you have something to share?
Earning from being wise and generous takes time. You can’t help people to earn if you don’t have the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to share with them. To get all those, you’ll have to work just like any other Internet marketer at the start. You need to build a name for yourself and develop your personal style and formula for working and succeeding in Internet marketing. You don’t need to turn yourself into an expert - that would take a huge number of years and you’re not willing to wait that long, are you - but you just need to familiarize yourself with how things work online and where to get the best tips about earning from Internet marketing. Only when you know all those will you be in the position to earn from performing good deeds online.
Start a blog.
Blogging is the ideal way to earn online from your wisdom and generosity. If you don’t have a blog yet, register one. At the start, a basic account, which is usually for free, would probably do. Next, you’ll have to purchase a domain name for your blog. It’s important to choose a name that will let your readers instantly know of your intention to help them earn online like you.
Next, you’ll have to register an account with Google Adsense. If you already have an existing account, you don’t need to register a new one. Just add your new blog address to the list of websites in your account.
Now that you have a blog and you’ve got Google Adsense providing you with a source of income, it’s time to start posting entries. This is where you’ll start having fun. Your blog entries don’t need to follow a rigid format. You can use any style, just as long as your readers understand and appreciate how you write your entries. The point of each entry should be simple: provide your readers a new tip on earning online.
If you are basing your entry on someone else’s work, remember to credit your source or you could be sued for plagiarism. Success in blogging is determined by several factors. First would be originality: copy-paste content is a no-no. If you are basing your information on another person’s work, you could at least try presenting it in a different style or you could use a different situational example when explaining a particular point. Being the first person - or at least one of the first - to post an entry about a certain subject will count a lot as well. Since your entry’s the first people are sure to see, yours are the first thing they’ll more likely view.
Make sure to enroll your blog in social bookmarking sites and blog directories. This will increase exposure for your blog, allowing you to reach more people. Consider having Internet marketing bloggers and experts guest in your blog as well. They could author a series of posts or you could feature an interview of them in your blog.
Hold Online Workshops and Seminars
A virtual workshop and seminar is quite cost-efficient and simple to do. You’ll usually require a chat room and if you want to view your listeners face to face, you’ll need a web camera and the necessary technology for everyone else to see each other.
If you don’t want to charge your listeners a minimal fee, you can definitely ask companies to sponsor the event and you’re sure to earn a bit from advertisement contracts. Naturally, your workshops and seminars will all revolve around the idea of helping other people earn online. Do remember, however, that you’ll need a semblance of public relation skills to carry this off. Practice makes perfect though so give it a try when you can!
